If there is one band that stayed 100% true to its roots then it must be AC/DC.
Ever science they started rocking Australia back in 1973. they remain faithful to its hard sound.

The band was formed by the Young brothers - Angus (lead guitar) and Malcom (rhythm guitar).

First vocalist was Bonn Scott who tragically died in 1980. after a night of partying. He was replaces by Brian Johnson.

Band has a huge following amongst Blue-collar working class.

Their sound is recognizable by the screeching voice of Johnson and Angus's lead guitar.
Angus Young is considered one of the best and most influential guitarist of all times. His style blends early rock n roll rhythms (along the lines of Chuck Berry) with heavy distortion.
Its worth mentioning that AC/DC prefers their music raw - be it studio or live performance. Virtually every song they recorded features no additional effects.
