When it comes to glam rock you don't need to look further - Cinderella incorporates everything that glam stood for. It had heavy riffs, heart-tearing lyrics and .. well, glam.
They were formed in Philadelphia in 1983 and enjoyed a great amount of fame throughout the 80's.
Good times for Glam rock indeed, multiplatinum albums, heavy rotations on MTV and everything that goes with it.
As years went on by Cinderella evolved musically, their last albums in the 90's have much more elements of classic rock and blues.
This however was not enough to fully embrace new fans. Eventually they became inactive, mainly due to personal differences between bandmembers.
Although there was no new material since 1994 Cinderella still does occasional touring. It has also been rumored that they might be making a comeback in 2010.
These days seem to be rather optimistic for old bands as many are "taking back" the stage, so it would be no surprise if Cinderella decides to get back into mainstream.
