about Bringin' On the Heartbreak: Bringin' On the Heartbreak was a hit song from Def Leppard's second album "High n Dry".

Def leppard's manager Cliff Burnstein recalls that the guys were somewhat reluctant about the song because it was a ballad and not a hard rocker. Quite ironic when we look at it from the retrospective, considering that nowadays Def Leppard is actually recognized for its power ballads.

But at the time, as Cliff reminds, guitarist Pete Willis was too embarrassed to play the song in front of him.

Eventually the song became a major hit for Leppard and remained one of their best known singles. The song was also covered by many musicians till today.

The original video from 1981. featured only live performance by the band. This video version was recorded later on in 1984. as a re-release of the song.
Majority of the scenes were shot at the factory site in Dublin, Ireland.
