Guns N Roses

Guns N Roses is probably one of the most important bands of the hard rock era. Unlike bands that built their careers gradually, Guns N Roses jumped on the rock n roll train of fame with their first and most known album - Appetite for Destruction.
Late 80’s were the area of long hair bands that played more pop then rock, but Guns N Roses took a very different road. The band was reckless to say at least.

Drugs, booze, fights, murdered fans – it was all there. Audience was always hungry for bad boy rockers, managers always knew that this fact should be exploited. It was the case with Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols etc. But Guns N Roses were different because they were "bad boys" by themselves, there was no need to create additional fuss about them.
This goes especially for notorious vocalist Axl Rose. He had a habit of losing his cool very fast. On several occasions he would stop the concert and leave, fail to show up or show up very late.
While this angered some fans, others were getting even more fascinated by Axl Rose.

Guns N Roses still exist, but there is only Axl Rose from the original line-up.
He was recording the new album for more than a decade and when it was finally done he released it in the worst possible time – economic crisis.
Subsequently the tour was planned and canceled for numerous times.

It is unclear what will happen to Guns N Roses as a band, but the front man Axl Rose will remain recognized as one of the most charismatic people in rock n roll history.
