This is a band that doesn't just play, they live rock n roll.
All members have a long history of alcohol and drug addictions, every member did jail time and the amount of women that had been related to them is countless.

Motley Crue was formed in Los Angeles in 1981.
From the very beginnings they acted as a big rock show band and have since changed very little in their approach.
Music is hard and raw, a true example of hard rock, although - like many bands from the era - they too have a number of popular power ballads.

Glory days lasted until the 90's, the last decade of the millennium wasn't a good decade for Crue. Their activities soared to minimum.
But 2004 saw a successful comeback with the album "Saints of Los Angeles".

Motley Crue also inspired many newer bands and artists, notably Nine Inch Nails, Marylin Manson, Papa Roach and others.

As of 2004 Motley Crue restored its famous line-up which consists of: Vince Neil (vocals), Mick Mars (lead & rhythm guitars), Nikki Sixx (bass) and Tommy Lee (drums)
