U2 - Beautiful Day video

about Beautiful Day: In essence an ode to anti-consumerism. Even Bono once said that the song is about a man who had lost all of his material possessions, but is still happy just to be alive and able to enjoy a beautiful day.

U2 wrote "Beautiful Day" in 2000. For the album "All That You Can't Leave Behind". It became a huge success upon its release and marked U2’s return to a more rock styled genre after almost 10 years of experimenting with various genres and sounds.

"Beautiful Day" has topped charts in many countries and became one of the most played songs on the radio.

Since then U2 has incorporated "Beautiful Day" in almost every live show as it has become their trademark, especially amongst the new generation of fans.

Video is shot an airport and depicts Bono as a man who is happy just because he "is", runs around and enjoys himself doing it.
Famous scene is the one where the whole band plays in the middle of a runway while passenger jet flies above them.
